Canada is freezing!

So we came, we saw, and it was cold! Luckily we missed the dead of winter this year, but it was colder than we had ever experienced. The cold penetrates your clothing if you are not wearing something insulated and your hands go numb in seconds exposed. When the wind picks up it gets even colder, so next year we will be gearing up to experience the worst of the cold as the temperature dropped to -32.4°C on the 14 December 2009.

Canada is Calling

Our journey officially began just shy of two years ago on 21 July 2008. We had contemplated going to Canada about six years ago, but took it no further than the research stages. We now have our Permanent Resident Visas and our flights are booked for 28 January 2010.

I have always heard great things about Canada and have always dreamed of living there.
I will be sad to leave family, friends and pets behind, but when one makes these decisions they must be made with the head and not the heart.

I will be posting progress updates on my blog about our journeys within Canada, so check back from time to time for some awesome imagery and interesting stories!
